Laila's, my favourite Lebanese food in the city, got shut down this week.
The full list of violations is pretty egregious.
I ate there at least a few times a month. Not only did the food taste exactly like my Lebanese grandmother's cooking, they always kept a chess set around. Andrey and I used to play all the time when he still lived in Toronto.

Alas, the hundreds of cumulative dollars I spent there wasn't enough to prevent "gross unsanitary conditions."
